Meet the President

Jerry Medley is President and Founder of THE MEDLEY GROUP. Jerry has over 30 years of successful experience in executive search and its related industries. His background in recruiting includes a multitude of diverse placements, encompassing company presidents, corporate officers, directors and managers.

As a lifetime avocation, Jerry has devoted himself to the study of human resources management, executive selection and diversity. He has enjoyed an extraordinary reputation for delivering value service. Over his expanding career, Jerry has consulted for a variety of industries and non-profit organizations throughout the continental United States.

Prior to THE MEDLEY GROUP, Jerry spent several years working for Paramount Pictures as its Human Resource Officer. Preceding Paramount Pictures, he was Senior Recruiting Manager for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee. Jerry was responsible for the recruitment of 2,000 staff members in the areas of accounting, security, technology, touch relay, venue management, protocol, entertainment and accreditation. Concluding the games, Jerry managed the outplacement of the organizing staff.

Jerry is an avid public speaker. He is well known for his enthusiastic, informative and practical presentations on a variety of human resources formats. Jerry has been listed in several national publications in the areas of recruitment, diversity and employment.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Jerry holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
